Values & sustainability

To limit the impact of the collection on our environment, I believe in the quality of local, humane and sustainable practice.

Promoting local production and know-how

I have been working in the industry of objects, fashion and jewellery design for a decade and have built strong relationships with local, talented craftspeople over the years. I only work with local artisans in London and Paris whose savoir-faire I really value.

Working closely with one another serves to improve the quality and longevity of our pieces and reduce their environmental impact, whilst also allowing the team to build strong, dependable and transparent working relationships.

Carefully sourced materials

The collection is made using recycled sterling silver and yellow gold, along with carefully sourced or reclaimed stones.

Our vermeil pieces are all made in London from recycled sterling silver and are plated with a minimum of 5 microns of 22 karat yellow gold

Where gemstones are not reclaimed, they are sourced directly and without middlemen, if possible. These gemstones are sourced in their rough form and then carved by skilled lapidarists in London.

Being able to trace the materials’ origins is key.

The Baltic Amber is sourced from mines in Poland. The Jade is from a family-run mine in British Columbia, Canada. The red Jasper is found along the Scottish coastline by a gemstone hunter. The diamonds are reclaimed from second-hand jewellery. The Garnets are sourced from a family-run mine in Minas Gerais, Brazil. We are now on the hunt for a pearl supplier who can provide proof of responsible farming and contributes to both ecological and social sustainability.

Last but not least, our bespoke jewellery boxes are made from fabric and wood in Italy. The delivery boxes that arrive at your door have been made out of recycled paper in the UK.

Produce less - use more

Creating pieces with longevity is always at the forefront of the design process. Producing timeless and wearable items that are made-to-measure means production is kept to a minimum, and the piece is finished specifically for you. By reducing the production, we reduce the potential energy and material waste. To know more about our made-to-measure & bespoke service, please visit our dedicated page.
